Joshua M. Bott is an American actor, director, singer, visual artist, and filmmaker. His credits include leading roles in plays, musicals and productions of the classics in Equity Regional Theatres, as well as film and television roles, concert singing, and music recordings.
Favorite stage roles include: Gratiano in Merchant of Venice and Filene in Tallgrass Gothic (Portland Center Stage), Frankie in Forever Plaid (Seattle Rep) Clyde in Bonnie and Clyde and Dr. Craven in The Secret Garden (Village Theatre).
Based in Los Angeles, Joshua has directed award nominated independent short films and intimate theatre. He spent three seasons directing and developing new plays on the Artistic Committee of the new works program at the Blank Theatre and directed plays for two seasons with the Young Playwrights Festival in Hollywood.
Joshua has served as a nationally elected Principal Councilor and as a member of the Western Regional Board of Actor’s Equity Association since 2008. He is an alumnus of the Theatre program at Seattle Pacific University.
